Silence

Silence. What exactly is it? Is it noise? Or lack of noise? Is it nature? Is it city? I am one who tries to breakdown the barriers that society has built up. Society wants us to believe that we don't need silence. Just think: how many of you have cell phones with you right now? What about a pager? Any IPOD's? How many televisions do you have in your home right now? How many of you take your CD case to your car so you can listen to un-interrupted music? Any of you have personal Palm-pilot? Society has engrossed us in this technology-rich world. If you don't have the newest gadgets, you just won't succeed right? No. I am working to breakdown these walls that society has built up. I am going to challenge you today, in this moment to turn off your cell phone. Turn off your IPOD. Turn off the radio, or cd player. Turn off the television. Tune out all of the 'noise' in your life. Just sit and be. Emmerse yourself in silence. Emmerse yourself in complete silence. Soon you will see that it is not silence at all. You will soon hear God's subtle voice. You won't hear it in your ears, but you will hear it in your heart. Just sit and be. Emmerse yourself in silence...Silence...Silence...

Life

"Life is not simply about breathing. It is not about working, and Life is not about eating or sleeping. I am going to challenge society. Society wants us to believe that life is simply about going through life making as much money as we possibly can. I am going to challenge society about the issue of life. To me, life is going through life being a servant, submitting yourself to others. Submit your life to God and see how wonderful it is. I believe that what I have right now is enough for me if it is enough for God. Reach out your hand to pick up an elderly person. Reach out your heart to love those who are different than you. Reach out your mind to understand the difficulties others face. Simply reach out, and you will have discovered the unmatched beauty of truly living. Why don't you start living today?"

I am Tired of Lazy Christians!

I am tired of sitting in church Sunday after Sunday and listening to the pastors message and doing nothing about it. I'm tired of sitting there, and not getting anything out of it. I'm tired of living my life day after day seeing so many so called 'Chrisitans' not living as Christ calls us to live.

I think that it is about time for all of us 'lazy Christians' to unite and take a stand. I think that it is about time for all of us to unite under one name-Jesus Christ.

I think that it is time for us to stand up for what we believe in. I think that it is time for all of us to not be afraid to defend our faith. I think it is time for all of us to fight for Jesus Christ. It is OUR time.

It is our time to impact lives.

It is our time to save souls.

It is our time to change this nation, one community at a time.

It is our time to change this world, one nation at a time.

IT IS OUR TIME!

It is our time to forget about our differences, and instead focus in on what we have in common. Our relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am so sick of seeing so many churches fall apart because of arguments over communion or baptism. I am so sick of seeing denomiations trying to kill each other over differences in view over baptism, communion, or leadership roles. I am so sick of hearing comments about this denomination or that denomination.

It's not about a religion. It's about a relationsihp.

Why can't we get that? Why can't we simply treat each other like brothers and sisters in Christ, as Jesus called us to do?

He is still calling us to do that.

Now is our time. The time to sit back and do nothing, thinking that someone else will do something is now OVER.

The time to do nothing is over.

Christ called us to 'go out and make disciples of all nations.'

WHY AREN'T WE DOING THAT?

We need to forget about the name on the church sign in front of our home churches. We need to remember that we ALL belong to on body-The Body of Christ. The family of Christianity.

Don't forget that.

Don't forget to stand up and act now!

God Bless.

Get a New Lease on Life!

The important thing about life is that it is short. You blink once, and its over already. That is why you need to get a new lease on life.

You are only here a short time till you begin your new life. Start living like you care.

Start giving like you've never given before. Give your love, your acceptance, your hope and your faith. Give your resources, and your skills. Above all, give your time.

Start helping like you've never helped before. Help your loved ones, help people to accept themselves for who they are, help others regain hope and faith. Help people gain resources, skills. Help others learn how to give their time.

Start loving like you've never loved before. Love without hate. Love without judgement. Love as God loves us. Love as Christ loves us.

Start living as you've never lived before. Take risks, and honor God for the ability to take risks. Do random acts of kindness to everyone you meet. Sky dive, and honor God. Run a marathon, and honor God for the ability to do so.

We live in a free country, so live like you're in a free country! But use your freedom wisely. Always remember this, no one, I repeat, no one can take away your freedom to worship our Lord and our God. So do it! Worship as you have never worshipped before.

Do all of these things, and see how much greater your life becomes. It becomes a life worth living. It becomes a life for God.

Get your new lease on life, and start living it today, in this hour, in this minute, in this second, in this moment.

Faith, Hope, and Love

Sometimes, the smallest words in the English language mean so much...

Hope is the one thing that gets us through our worst days. It is the one thing that keeps pushing us to the next second, the next hour, the next day, and the next moment. Hope is a blessing from God.

Love is the one thing that we all need, no matter what. It is the one thing that we have to give ourselves. It is the one thing that we need to give to each other. Love is the thing that truly shows us that we are more than just a person, we are a family member, we are a friend, and we are truly loved and appreciated."I Love You," is the best compliment someone can ever give you. Love is a blessing from God.

Faith is the one thing that truly shows us how to believe in things unseen. It is the one thing that tells us each and every day that there is more to life than simply breathing. It is the one thing that is constantly there, that can make our worst day, our best day. Faith is a blessing from God.
Saint Augustine once said,

"Thus it is that love is not without hope, hope is not without love, and neither hope nor love are without faith."
